Procrastination Is An Enemy Of Every Christian

Procrastination is a deadly disease and robber of destiny. It’s one of the little foxes that hinder your journey to the top. Take us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Song of Solomon 2:15.

Many might have decided to wake up from their slumber and are ready to stir up the deposits inside them. They might have discovered God’s plan for their lives and are ready to pursue it at any cost. But, unfortunately to them, they get captured in the web of procrastination, they get blinded and soon, frustration begins to show up in their lives. Napoleon Hill said: “procrastination is a common enemy practically every man must conquer”.

Procrastination is defined as the act of putting off, postponing or delaying an action or something that should be done now, especially when it becomes habitual or intentional.

Procrastination whispers negative feeling into your system, it makes you substitute some irrelevant things for very important things, till another time. People that procrastinate tend to give unimportant reasons to justify their inability to accomplish anything at the right time.

If Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the savior of the universe procrastinated His coming into this world to die for me and you, and also to redeem us, which was Christ’s primary reason of coming into this world. How would the world look like today?

Noah and his extended families would have been wipe out from the surface of the earth together with the wicked people that occupied the earth in the great flood, during Noah’s days, if and only if, he had procrastinated the work God gave him. Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. Genesis 6:22

There is a great work that God has committed to you, He found you qualified and fit for it. Don’t dare to procrastination this great work that God has committed to your hand, because it could be dangerous.

This is to tell you how terrible and horrible it is to fall a victim of procrastination. It’s is very deadly and dangerous. You must know that, procrastination is the devils device he uses it in tracking people destiny down.

Procrastination is a disease that makes you resistance to progress. It retards your journey in life and makes you refuse taking action towards your dreams. Many destinies have been paralyzed, wrecked and sent to grave by this deadly disease. Don’t give it a chance; flee away from any appearance of procrastination. It might even come in form of genuine excuses, know that you must resist it in other to press forward.

I’m sure you must have been encouraged and challenged by the previous chapters you’ve read. I could recall the month August 2013, when I read the book AWAKEN THE GIANT WITHIN, written by Anthony Robbins. I felt like exploring my inner deposits instantly. Ever since that encounter, I knew who I’m and my inward identity. I took a strong decision of going out there to show the world God’s deposits in me.
