How terrible and evil is the heart of Man! Let's begin...
God Himself, attest to the fact that the heart of a man is terribly wicked, who can find. This seems to be what others might not like to hear or read on the net or anywhere. But, let's be very sincere to ourselves. Do you think the heart of Man is desperately wicked?
Keep the answer to yourself. I will like to let us know some few things that brings to the conclusion "The heart of a Man is full of wickedness"
How many of you know about the story of the first murderer on earth? I'm talking about CAIN, the first human to be born by a woman and also the first child of the world. He was in a very good term with his younger brother, ABEL, who was later killed by his brother.
The only reason behind the killing of this young man by his elder brother was simply because, he obtained favor from God who saw that his sacrifice was from the heart, while that of Cain was not from heart. That makes us to know that we serve a God that strictly gets full details of who we are, His creature, by going through our heart.
I once had a friend of mine say, every human is heterogeneous in character, both inside and outside, it was only Christ and some prophets that were Homogeneous in their character. That is actually true, humans are experts and specialists in pretense. We can so pretend as if nothing really happened, whereas lots of evil thoughts are flowing round our heart!
Just wait a minute, if you can be faithful to yourself, you will discover so many bad thoughts, intentional and unintentional ones have flowed through your heart. Wickedness does not necessarily means that you take a knife or any dangerous weapon and hit someone with it or you poison a friend, family members and so called enemies. It also mean, looking at someone people jealously for something you see them posses and you don't. It also mean when you don't even preach Jesus Christ to those unbelievers around you! Yes!!! It might sound odd, but let's be very realistic to ourselves. We fail to tell our co-workers, classmates, family friends, roommates, departmental mates and other people around us about JESUS CHRIST. We feel that, it's not really necessary...
Wickedness can also appear when we fail to obey some of our elders, even going against God's plan to our life is also wickedness. We should not take all these things for granted. They are serious issues when it comes to Christian Lifestyle and Kingdom Matters.
Most of are victims of one or two of the above mentioned.
Let me drop my pen here... My best advise for you reading this article is to try your possible best to make sure you amend your ways! Man is Wicked!!! But you can change!
