Studies Reveals That True Religious People Are Not Prone To Cancer

Today You are about to Read Something that might surprise you a bit, but I think true believers should not be surprise that Religion can actually help people deal with cancer and any health related disease, according to new diagnosis of some Christian Health scholars, They went deep into study and discover that; True Religion can cause limitations of disease like cancer to you!
This was a report published in the US journal CANCER which looked deep into the impact of religious belief on the various sides; physical, mental and social health. Patients’ unique ability of maintaining their social roles and relationships during their illness period.
It was found that true religious people had less pain, with better mental health state and were better able to ride on functioning than non-religious people. Much depended on how someone actually experienced their religion, with those whose faith was emotionally satisfying and supportive faring better than those who believed in an angry and judgmental God. This is actually true to all Christians, as we serve a God of forgiveness mercies, kind and God with high level of sympathy towards humanity, rather than a God that has none of this.
Now, coming to the relationship between better physical health and religion, a famous lead author Dr. Heather Jim of the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, said that "particularly strong in patients who experienced greater emotional aspects of religion and spirituality, including a sense of meaning and purpose in life as well as a connection to a source larger than oneself".
Going back to mental health as mentioned earlier, the analysis also found that "Spiritual well- being is strongly connected with less anxiety and depression" according to the famous lead author Dr. John Salsman. "Also, greater levels of spiritual distress and a sense of disconnectedness with God or a religious community was associated with greater psychological distress or poorer emotional well-being."
Lastly, of social health, it was realized that "patients with stronger spiritual well-being, more benign images of God. Such as perceptions of a benevolent and merciful God, rather than an angry and Judgmental God, such as convictions that a personal God can be called upon for assistance – reported better social health", said lead author Dr. Allen Sherman. "In contrast, those who struggled with their faith fared more poorly."
The whole research stops short of claiming a causal link between faith and a better experience of cancer and any other disease. But, however, it may have implications for health care systems which incorporate chaplaincy provision, such as the NHS.
Coming down to African countries, where most people are very religious. No wonder there is a low rate of CANCER compared to the European countries where they have no Religious basis or fundamentals. Any good Christian should not be scared of CANCER, as the scripture says “GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD” this alone should be the word of encouragement every Christian must bear in other to stay healthy! Remember God said in his word that “HEALING IS THE BREAD OF HIS CHILDREN”
Encourage one another, try your best to tell a believer who might be in any form of Sickness, to have faith in God.

BE YOURSELF

Be yourself. Who else is better qualified?  -Frank J. Giblin ll

People waste much of their time trying to be like others. Instead of emulating some positive aspects of their lives, they try to be like them completely. They want to be like some great men and women out there. Probably, like so many great stars, but are neglecting their own great attributes. They are neglecting their own uniqueness. Forgetting the fact that no two people have exactly the same thing all through. You can only add part of some great men works to yours, for extraordinary exploits.

Be the best of yourself. Some people hide under the umbrella of pretense. Don’t try to pretend who you are not. Just be who you are, not who you are not. When you try to be like others, you lose a lot of unique things about yourself. Ordinarily, you might actually downgrade yourself and what you possess. Try to be that person you see, when you go close to a mirror.

I once read the story of a cub that accidentally grew up among other wild animals. It tried being like them in behavior and way of survival. Often time, a lion comes to threaten the whole of the animals in their territory together with the cub. The cub noticed that, it has similar structure and roar almost like the lion, which threatens them. One faithful day, when the lion came again to threaten the other animals and the cub, the rest of the animals ran away as usual, but the cub stayed back and watched the lion as it approaches. The lion roared, and the cub roared back at the lion. Both of them came close and smelled each other. The cub followed the lion back to its territory. That was how the fearful cub discovered it real nature and origin. And began operating on its true nature, If only the cub never discovered it real self, it would have remained foolish and fearful like the other wild animals. Not knowing, it contains giant abilities in it to lead and control other animals in the bush.
Perhaps, you are like the cub. You might be Feeling comfortable and convenient with becoming like others. Some peoples dream is to be like others, not to be like themselves. Whenever you develop the passion of becoming like anyone, you’re indirectly caging your abilities. The cub was a potential lion to be and a potential leader of other animals. But ignorantly, neglected it uniqueness and attributes and began copying other animal’s lifestyle. That led the cub to become a slave, rather than a master.

You are the better person qualified to be yourself. Just try and imagine you never came into this world. Who do you think would be you? Who do you think is better qualified to be that person you’re now? If peradventure, you never existed in this world. Do you think there would be someone that will be exactly like you in all aspect of life, not just physiological or morphological structure and would carry out the exact assignment you ought to accomplish here on earth? Have you once asked yourself if it was a mistake you were yourself now? Probably, wishing if you were someone out there you admire and so much like their lifestyle. Let me announce to you that, there is no and there will never be anyone exactly like you. You can have so many people that are looks like you, but not you.
